We had a lovely two-night stay at Woodford Bridge Country Club. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the stay and had plenty to keep them entertained, which made it extra relaxing for us as well. Overall, a great family-friendly place and we’d be happy to stay again.
Very affordable and definitely worth the drive. The place was clean and well-maintained, with friendly and attentive service (special mention to LJ). Amenities were excellent — sauna, steam room, swimming pool, game rooms, and even some peacocks on site! The kitchen was spotless and fully equipped, beds were large and comfy, and parking was convenient. Just a small note — there’s no hair dryer in the pool changing room and no water fountain available. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!
Stayed here with my family between Christmas and New Year. The centre has a lovely pool, a jacuzzi, a steam room and a sauna room. All very clean. Nothing fancy but simply nice. The flats are quite spacious with a bedroom ( with a comfortable bed and a wardrobe), a small bathroom and a kitchen with a leaving space (and a sofa bed). Located by A388 where car can go quite fast...but not a busy road!
Far from the medding crowd of the cities it is a beautiful place at a quite and scenic environment with modern rooms & kitchen. One has to bring in his own food as the property offers all crockery gas and cooking utensils etc. Ideal for those wanting to find isolation from daily hustle. Don't expect much activities at the center. Good Place to spend a quite time with family.
Had a fab stay over the weekend. Spa is lovely. Pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. Rooms are a great size and very comfy beds! Nice showers too. Would definitely come back
We had good stay in there. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, squash, table tennis on site. Easy to find and easy to park. Place looks modern but apartments needs maintenance and good cleaning as we found two spider webs in top corners and dust on shelfs
What an incredible stay! The drive through Dartmoor National Park to get here is absolutely stunning and sets the tone for a peaceful getaway. The resort has a fantastic leisure centre with a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, swimming pool, gym, and even a spa — perfect for unwinding. There’s also a convenient farm shop on the property, great for snacks, essentials, and local treats. For just £3, you can enjoy an hour of badminton or squash, which is amazing value. One of my favourite things about the place is the number of beautiful peacocks roaming around — it makes every walk feel magical. You can also hear water flowing through the property, adding to the calm atmosphere. The closest city is Bideford, which has some great food options and is easy to reach. Don’t miss visiting the Blackberry Farm Shop while you’re in the area — definitely worth the stop! A peaceful, scenic, and refreshing getaway — highly recommended.
Such a lovely place! Quiet but with great family style facilities. Self contained Units feel like a spacious home, but without all the clutter or the housework! Comfy beds! Beautiful views and super helpful staff. Lots to see in the local area and excellent day trips too. Highly recommend!
